Launch settings.

Standard mode uses background workers in the current build. If that mode has trouble, try compatibility mode.

Classic opens the previous 1.8 build and its saved worlds. It does not convert those worlds into the current build.

About your worlds

Keep your world close.

Worlds are saved in this browser profile on this site. They do not automatically sync between devices or browsers.

The current build and Classic keep separate worlds. Choose Classic to return to your previous 1.8 saves.

Clearing site data or ending a private browsing session can remove saved worlds. Export important worlds from inside the game before clearing data or changing devices.
